Description: These canopies were constructed to shelter market traders from the elements, the shelters have drop down platforms that act as tables for the stall holders, these are folded back and secured at night. The canopies also form a walkway around a central area that can be used for performances and entertainments. When the tables are secured away temporary seating can be positioned beneath the shelters allowing people to watch a performance in the central area whilst being protected from the elements.
